The Chikugo River Fireworks Festival is one of the largest fireworks displays in Kyushu, and is held every year on August 5 in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The event takes place along the banks of the Chikugo River, where approximately 18,000 fireworks light up the night sky. This event has a history of over 360 years and is an essential summer tradition!
