Kaminarimon is a famous gate at the entrance to Sensoji Temple, characterized by a large red lantern. Its official name is “Wind and Thunder God Gate,” and statues of the Wind God and Thunder God stand on both sides. The gate is a symbol of Asakusa and attracts many tourists who come to take pictures.
