This major winter event in Nagasaki City is held annually in accordance with the Lunar New Year (Spring Festival). During the festival, celebrating the traditional Chinese Spring Festival, the city is decorated with approximately 15,000 colorful lanterns and fantastical lighting. Dragon dances, lion dances, and Chinese traditional performances enchant the visitors.
