The Itabashi Fireworks Festival is held jointly by Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, and Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, every August. Approximately 12,000 fireworks are launched on the banks of the Arakawa River and can be viewed from both Tokyo and Saitama. The highlight of the festival is the spectacular fireworks display, including shakudama fireworks, starmine, and Niagara Falls.
